This is the last webinar in the four-part series, “Selected Issues in U Nonimmigrant Status.”
Students will focus on U status eligibility issues related to qualifying crimes, definition of victim, proving physical and mental harm, and obtaining law enforcement certifications. Presenters will also discuss considerations for clients awaiting adjudication including the bona fide determination process, the waiting list, life changes and newly acquired grounds of inadmissibility. Finally, we will discuss options for clients who are in removal proceedings.
