- As an asylee, you may be eligible for some important refugee benefits. You should apply for these benefits NOW as many of them are time sensitive and must be requested within a certain time from the date of status was granted.
- There are different services available for an assortments of eligible populations including asylees, and the services may be requested any time within five years from the date the status was granted.
Attending an in-person orientation is highly recommended because there are many details involved in the application process, and service providers will be present to answer your questions.
