Defending the Detained-A Guide to Detained Removal Defense

A free CLE course for those interested in defending individuals in detained removal proceedings.  Participants will gain knowledge on accessing clients in immigration detention, obtaining release from detention, strategies for defending clients with prior removal orders, strategies for passing CFI’s and RFI’s, and more.  Lunch will be provided for pre-registered participants.  Pending TX MCLE Credit: 5 hrs (includes 0.50 hr ethics).

Instructions:  On the day of the CLE, check-in with security on the first floor lobby.  From the lobby, enter the library and take the library stairs to the second floor.  To the right of the stairs are a bank of elevators.  Take the library elevators to the 6th floor.  The conference room will be to your right when you exit the elevators.

Online registration closes at midnight on May 31, 2019.
