Join us in Houston’s very first Run for Refugees to bring awareness to immigrants and their struggles in the USA. We invite everyone who wants to take a run/walk in the park, and support the cause. There is also going to be an art exhibition about refugees. At the end of the run/walk, we will gather with LED candles in hands, which our symbolic caravan of light and hope for refugees will come together for a massive candlelight vigil in support of refugees around the globe as the sun sets.
Oyster Creek Park is our official check-in point for the run/walk. Water will be provided.
