You are invited to join experts from the American Immigration Council (AIC) and National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) as they present on record requests in the context of Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) and SIJS-based adjustment of status (AOS). They will provide procedural guidance, practical tips, and strategy considerations for ORR record requests, FBI background checks, and FOIA requests through the lens of an unaccompanied child seeking SIJS and AOS.
This training is geared towards anyone at a legal service provider who works with unaccompanied children seeking SIJS and AOS, including attorneys and legal staff. All are welcome!
