She the People is hosting the first ever Presidential candidate forum focused on women of color on Wednesday, April 24th at Texas Southern University, one of the nation’s largest public historically black colleges and universities. Texas Southern University is a dream partner institution for the Forum. Texas is on the precipice of turning blue, and Texas Southern University’s community captures the history, experience, and aspirations of women of color.
The forum is a historic opportunity to focus the nation on women of color. Women of color are critical organizers and the core constituency that delivered big wins in the midterms. This forum will focus the nation on the issues important to women of color—issues of racial, economic, gender, and social justice.
