
This annual training event includes a 1 1/2 day Pro Bono Coordinators Retreat pre-conference for pro bono coordinators from legal aid offices, law firms, law schools, or corporate law departments and is designed to increase the quantity and quality of civil legal aid available to the low-income and poor Texans through pro bono efforts. The Poverty Law Conference is a three-day training on poverty law issues affecting low-income and poor Texans. The PLC offers targeted continuing legal education with a specific public interest focus and features presentations from some of the most knowledgeable poverty law practitioners and private attorneys in their respective fields. PLC and PBCR agenda and workshop descriptions will be available mid-June.
Registration
PBCR and PLC registration will be open June 21 – August 12*. Late registrations will not be accepted. *Registration will stay open as capacity allows.
