The event will feature a vigil, music and cultural performances and a short vigil to commemorate Black migrants as we seek their liberation and fight for their justice.
BAJI will be joined by partners from the Until We’re Free table, a dozen Black leaders, organizers, and allies from around Texas. The event will be attended by Haitian-American communities all over Texas, and many other Black migrant communities.
BAJI, the NAACP, RITA, and ACLUTx and many other organizations will be in attendance. The Texas Rally for Black Migrants will drive a march to Austin from Houston, Dallas, and other Texas cities. The march will feature Haitian speakers and performers demanding swift action from the government to stop the deportation of Haitian Migrants and the ending of Title 42.
