Rules of the Game for 501 (c)(3)s: Elections
Elections are important opportunities to educate and engage voters and the community at large. Although 501(c)(3) organizations cannot support or oppose candidates for public office, there are many activities they can participate in during election years. This training covers the federal tax law rules regarding electoral activities for 501(c)(3)s, including:
- How can you continue to advocate for your issues during election years
- How can you educate the public through candidate forums and questionnaires?
- How can you educate candidates on the issues important to your organization?
- How can you safely support or oppose ballot measures without being partisan?
This webinar is at 11 AM PT / 1 PM CT / 2 PM ET.
