Webinar: What you need to know about the Dora v. Sessions, Ms. L v. ICE, and M.M.M. v. Sessions preliminary settlement agreement

October 19, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

- Free

On Oct. 9, a federal court preliminary approved a settlement agreement between plaintiffs and the government in three cases challenging the government’s family separation policies: Dora v. Sessions, Ms. L v. ICE, and M.M.M. v. Sessions. The settlement will allow parents whose credible or reasonable fear interviews were denied after having their children taken from them to have their claims re-evaluated.

Moderated by CLINIC’s Michelle Mendez and featuring speakers from Dora’s counsel at Muslim Advocates and from counsel working with separated families at the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project, this webinar will explain the terms of the preliminary settlement agreement and who can benefit from this agreement.

This training is sponsored by the Catholic Legal Immigration Network and the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project. A recorded version of this webinar will be posted on our website.
